Summer Aquatic Program Registration Starts March 1st

Registration for summer swim lessons and swim team begins on March 1st. Classes fill up fast so we recommend you register early to give you the best chance to get the ones you want. Here are some tips to help make your registration process go smoothly.

Register online - There is no easier way to register than from the comfort of your own home! Online registration allows you to register at your convenience beginning at 12:00am March 1st. If you have taken a course with us before, you already have an account. If you can’t remember your login information, it is easy to recover - just follow the prompts online. If you haven’t, creating an account is easy and beats waiting in line for us to do it for you in person. But if you prefer to register in person, you can register at any Dallas recreation center after March 1st during operating hours.

Choose your course ahead of time -  Registration will go much faster if you know which course you want ahead of time. You can browse the summer course listing and choose a course by location, session, and time. If you are unsure which class is right for your child, check out the website for full descriptions of each swim lesson level. We also have a handy chart that helps you identify the skills to look for when choosing your child’s level. If you still aren’t sure, we offer free swim lesson skill evaluations at Bachman Indoor Pool and Pleasant Grove Pool during their operating hours. Bring your child to the pool and staff will perform an in-water skills test and tell you exactly which class your child needs.

Have a backup plan - In the event that the course you want fills up, it’s a good idea to have a few backup choices. We have 5 sessions at 19 locations as well as morning and evening times so if you are flexible, there is a good chance you can find something that fits your schedule. Review the summer course listing ahead of time to make sure you have a few alternate options.

If you read all the way to the end, there is a good chance that registration will be smooth sailing for you and your family. If you still have questions, check out our FAQ’s. And if you still need help, feel free to call us at 214-670-1926 and we will do our best to help you. We look forward to seeing you at the pool this summer!
