Adapted Aquatics

Adult Swim Lessons
It’s never too late to learn to swim. Swim lessons for adults emphasize water safety skills, basic swimming strokes, and stroke refinement. Please inquire about Saturday classes.

Arthritis Relief
This class is designed for anyone with arthritis or related rheumatic diseases. The goals of this class are to reduce pain and stiffness, restore / maintain range of motion, improve balance, improve overall health, and promote positive social interaction among participants.

Aqua Mix
If you are looking for variety in your workout, this class is for you. This class will rotate between several high energy workouts each day. The following are two of our featured routines:
  • Aqua Box
    Choreographed boxing and kick boxing moves are combined into effective stamina building routines that are designed to maximize water’s built in resistance. Class also includes a slower, flexibility enhancing Tai Chi cool down.
  • Circuit Workout
    This high intensity interval workout will put you through the paces as you rotate through stations that focus on improving strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness.
Extreme Water Aerobics
This is a fast paced traditional water aerobics class with the main focus on cardio, muscle strength, and range of motion.

Open Swim
A non-structured time for self directed water activity or individual workout with a lifeguard on duty. Lap lanes will be available for lap swimming.

Parent-Tot / Toddler & Preschool Swim Lessons
The American Red Cross Learn to Swim program is offered for youth ages six months to 14 years. Parent-Tot / Parent-Toddler lessons for youth ages six months to 3 years prepare youth for increased success in the preschool and youth lessons while teaching parents the skills needed to introduce a child to the water in a safe and comfortable manner. Preschool lessons for children ages 3 to 5 guide youth through the basics of water adjustment and exploration and prepare them for increased success in youth lessons.

Salsa Splash
Let the rhythm of Latin music and moves help you burn unwanted calories, boost your physical endurance, and improve your range of motion. This high energy cardio workout is a fun way to get your heart pumping.

Splash & Tone
The perfect combination of gentle, yet effective aerobic exercises, muscle toning and strengthening, and posture improving exercises make this the perfect workout for those with arthritis, recovering from an injury, pregnant, and seniors.

Youth Swim Lessons
Instructors lead youth ages 5 to 14 through the process of perfecting swimming strokes and improving their water fitness, as well as incorporating safety skills with the American Red Cross Learn to Swim curriculum.
